Step-by-Step Recipe : Drama Unfolds: Capsicum’s Masala Journey
INGREDIENTS
- 150g green capsicum, chopped
- 3 tbsp roasted besan
- ½ tsp red chili powder
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp amchur powder
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- ½ tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste

PREPARATION STEPS
1. **Heat the Oil:**
- Take a pan and heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat.
2. **Add Seeds:**
- Add 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera) and 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds (saunf) to the hot oil. Fry for about 1 minute until they become fragrant.
3. **Cook Capsicum:**
- Add the 150 grams of chopped green capsicum to the pan. Fry until the capsicum is half done, stirring occasionally.
4. **Spice it Up:**
- Add 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder (jeera powder), 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder, and 1/2 teaspoon dried mango powder (amchur powder). Add salt to taste. Mix well to coat the capsicum with the spices.
5. **Finish with Besan:**
- Finally, add 3 tablespoons of roasted besan (gram flour) to the pan. Mix well to combine all the ingredients. Continue to cook for a few more minutes until the besan is well incorporated.
6. **Garnish and Serve:**
- Turn off the stove and add 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh coriander leaves, 1tbs Roasted Sesame seeds. Mix well.
- Serve hot with rice.
